REMINDER- For those reading this this Thursday at 8:00pm we have a Podcast with Octavio Sequera Cleveland Browns Sportscaster and works for ESPN.
When we look at the two QB's that the Dolphins are choosing between which are Fitzpatrick and Tua Tagovailoa who should be the chosen one. Both Quarterbacks have their pro's and con's but let's look into Fitzpatrick first and what he did last Season.
Ryan Fitzpatrick Pro's and Con's
The Pro's of Fitzpatrick are really good which are his Experience in the NFL ( He is a journeymen), His stats last season prive that he has a huge shot at being the starter, and finally the Dolphins are looking to make the playoffs this season so Fitzpatrick's ending to last season really showed that this team is a playoff team with him as the starter. Last Season Fitzpatrick had an absolute great season with 3,529 passing yards 20 touchdowns agains 13 interceptions which is really good for his age at 37.
Some con's of Fitzpatrick is that sometimes he starts really good but that is fake and then he sucks really bad once he get's the starting role or get's paid big bucks. Another con is his age for sure at 37 years old he can be injured a lot more easier and he isn't as quick as he was in his days with the Bill's and Rams.
My personal opinion is that he will most likely be the starter because the Dolphins have a top 10 defense for sure in this league with the addition of Bryon Jones, Kyle Van Noy, Shaq Lawson, and Emmanuel Ogbah automatically make the team 20 time better than what it was last season.
Tua Tagovailoa Pro's and Con's
Tua Tagovailoa was the Miami Dolphins first round pick in this years draft and he is showing a lot of hype for sure and also the stats prove it with 2,480 passing yards 33 touchdowns against 3 interceptions which the stats are better than Fitzpatrick but one of the Con's is for sure the hip injury and if he is 100% ready to be the starter of the team. Tua is a player that I really like but nobody really know what he will look like once he returns. I think Tua will not start week one and will make his debut either week 10 or week eleven which both games are against the Jets.
