New York Past

The New York Mets just a couple of years ago were in the World Series with a completely dominant team with one of the best pitching rotations that included Mat Harvey, Jacob deGrom, and Noah Syndergaard. Also there was Yoenis Céspedes, David Wright and much much more. Today this team isn’t what it was just a couple of years ago but man they look good. The Mets were the favorites to win the NL East. Is do I think they can win it yes but you have 2 teams in there way the Braves and the Phillies but I don’t think the Mets will be challenged but will get through.

Mets season preview

This season was supposed to be big for the Mets simply to see if the Manager change payed off and if the return of Céspedes will make a impact and if this team can get to the next step which is make it to the playoffs and win to make a deep run. Syndergaard is our for the year but I am still confident In this rotation with Rick Porcell, Michael Wacha, Jacob deGrom, Marcus Stroman, and others.

Question you may have

1) Will the Mets be better than last year?

For sure but now due to the COVID-19 we have no idea how this could change the Mets or even the whole league but we do know that with the team that the Mets have right now they will be a juggernaut in the NL.

2) Will the loss of Syndergaard affect the Mets?

100% it will, Syndergaard is one if there best pitchers in the league to me a top 2 pitcher with Gerrit Cole in front of him but again I’m confident in the rotation so in conclusion yes it will affect the Mets but not as much as you would think.
